"The Woollahra hotel has long been one of the Eastern suburbs most iconic venues. From the large open roof terrace, to the one hatted restaurant, Bistro Moncur, it has retained a loyal clientele," says Katharine Formosa, Interior Designer for Ryan's Hotels. "Recently the owners, wanted to open the hotel up to a new crowd. They saw a gap in the market and decided to create a new environment within the hotel named The Terrace,"
"The brief was to create a relaxed outdoor area to attract a new younger crowd to the hotel. In collaboration with the manager, Jeremy Rockey, we wanted to push the name of the The Terrace to extend to the interiors and create a fun, unique and relaxed interior," says Katharine. "The result is a classic environment with splashes of colour and lots of beautiful plants. The environment is reminiscent to a lush indoor garden. The sort of place you want to relax in with a good bottle of wine,"
“I have used Café Culture on numerous hospitality projects over the last 9 years and they have always responded with professionalism. Their range of furniture is varied in style and price point which is good when you are piecing together a large selection of furniture,”
